Lucy has trained and fought all over the world. With over 40 bouts under her belt, she is a former WBC World Muay Thai Champion, as well as holding various other titles. She has coached in Cornwall, Birmingham, Sydney, Melbourne and China, as has competed in many countries including Thailand. Lucy coaches some of the classes here at Corefit UK, as well as offering her personal training services in both Muay Thai and weight lifting.
Coach Henry is the owner of Corefit UK and the striking coach to a stable of fighters. Best known for assisting in Leon Edwards UFC career to help him achieve Champion status, as well as his brother, Bellator fighter, Fabian Edwards. Henry has a wealth of knowledge from years in the sport of Muay Thai, from a competitive fighter in his younger years, to now coaching and cornering for fighters all over the world. Corefit UK has produced world level fighters including Liam Mcgrandles (WBC International, European and British Champion) and Nathan Bendon (WBC World and multiple Champion) among many others. Lucy Payne, herself a WBC World Champion has trained at Corefit for many years too.
Jake has been trained for years under the guidance of Coach Henry. He has extensive knowledge when it comes to the technicalities of Muay Thai and has fight experience too, which makes him a valuable coach to anyone looking to compete. Jake can train clients in both Muay Thai, and weightlifting.
Mario is one of our class instructors here at Corefit UK, teaching both the Muay Thai classes and the Combat Circuits. Mario is an ISKA 4 Nations Champion and English Champion. He is renowned for pushing people to the limit! He is an active fighter, and over the last 16 years has experience training in both the UK, Poland and Thailand.
Ben is a highly qualified personal trainer, with a BSc Sports and exercise science degree. He is able to train clients in both lifting weights and Muay Thai. as well as being a qualified Sports massage therapist. He is currently an active fighter for Corefit UK, recently winning the WBC National Title.
Shay has been coming to the gym to train with Coach Henry since he was 14 years old adding a very high level of striking to his elite wrestling. Look out for his name as he is working his way to the very top. Already an undefeated amateur and double European Champion he recently made a victorious debut on Cage Warriors, one step away from the UFC! Shay teaches our MMA sessions on a Tuesday.
